Is a egg turner nesesary for an incubator? Just wondering.

No a turner is not neccesary as long as you manually turn (at least 3 times a day.) I started out incubating with the turner and the last two hatches I hand turned. I have found that I actually prefer to hand turn and (whether or not is has anything to do with it)had my best two hatch rates (92 and 100%) hand turning my eggs.
