nest box perch

I am almost done with my coop and was wondering if the perch in front of the nest box is to far away from the wall its about 8" is it ok or should I move it ??

If you are getting standard sized chickens I think you will be fine. You have a beautiful coop!

8" is fine.
Might not even need it if edge of nest is 12" from floor, they can peek in and hop up without needing a perch.
Probably don't need that ramp going to pop door either.

Lots can/will be adjusted after they use it for awhile.
A simple step, halfway from floor to door, could work for the pop door.
