Nest boxes - interior vs exterior

Thanks everyone for your insights. A lot of comments about having to go into the coop to get eggs. I should have mentioned that my plan includes an opening on the outside wall into the back of the nest boxes for retrieving the eggs. With that said, I feel pretty good about putting the boxes inside. The coop dimensions will be 3'x6', with the nest boxes taking up about 2 sq ft on one end, so floorspace shouldn't be an issue.
