Nest Boxes

Finally found the picture of our nest boxes - we put them up awhile ago.

We slanted the top and covered it with aluminum flashing - it works great! They just can't roost up there.

I did learn to chop the straw up a bit, they still strew it all over the floor but not quite as quickly! And the best thing is they lay eggs in them!

Nice looking nest boxes! Is the interior of your hen house whitewashed? It looks very clean!

Nice.I need to make my next set of boxes w/slanted top cuz mine have pooped all over the flat top next boxes and roost up there all the time.
