nest boxes

good afternoon
i seemed to have spent the afternoon working on my chicken coop (alright but i should have been working for money)
my quetion is
i finished the nest box section of the coop today and as it is now it is a 12' section coming off the back of main section of coop (ill post pics soon)
and i want to know if it make any difference if i leave all open or hould make individual nests?

You must be a contractor

I learned the hard way (well, not too hard ) that they like a dark, private and if possible, cool place to nest.

They will also often use the same box, taking turns. You don't need a lot of nests, just a few private ones.
