Nest setter

I have 7 Rhode island reds. I have one that has been setting on the nest for four days now. She has not laid an egg, she leaves the nest only when the others use it to lay. After they are done she returns to the nest. I have to reach under her to retrieve the eggs. After removing the eggs she remains there for the rest of the day and sleeps there over night. I removed her from the coop and placed her on the ground, she ran around the pen and entered the coop back on the nest. I am just curious if this is normal.

She sounds like she may be going broody.
