I have a few questions about my Barred Rock nesting .
I have read up on some of the signs they show when ready, such as comb and waddles turn red they squat when you go to them.
That they will sing, what do they sound like singing?
My Pullets comb and waddles have turned bright red.
I have noticed some squatting, but not often here and there.
But they were not expected to start laying until late September early August. That's why I was wondering about theses signs they show.
Also we have had nesting boxes blocked off when do we open them up?
We also have 4 Amereaucanas about 9 weeks younger will they course problems for Barred Rock in nesting?
