Nesting area vs sleeping area

The run is the area with wire sides?

I ask because of the wood floor.
It's bound to get wet and rot out. It also prevents normal chicken behavior like scratching in the dirt and taking dust baths.

What are the dimensions of the coop and the run p!ease?

Nests should be lower than roosts to help keep them from sleeping in them. They will want to roost as high as they can get.

We definitely need measurements because right now I don't see a coop sized for 10 chickens if the space is closed off. Left open air, it might be enough, depending on measurements.

Do you have a sketch or something to show what this is supposed to look like when finished?

As a very rough estimate, you want to aim for (at minimum): 4 sq ft per bird floor space inside the coop and 10 sq ft per bird inside the run. 1 linear ft per bird on roost and 1 sq ft per bird in ventilation in coop. 1 nest box for every 3-4 hens.

Also to address the original question, these are examples of what the nesting area and sleeping area (roosts) look like inside my coop, so you can see how functionally different they are. Nesting boxes:
