Nesting Box Height???

My only thought would be if they'll have enough landing distance hopping down from the nest box bar. It's hard to see from the picture, but it looks like there's something very close in front of the nesting box (wall/doorway). They won't have trouble flying up, but they may need a bit of a runway to fly down, or they'll crash into the wall in front.
I didn't notice this at first.
How far is it between the wall and the nesting boxes?
Would it be a good idea to install another box bar but on the wall that is perpendicular to the nesting boxes or parallel to the ramp by the nesting boxes so that the chickens could jump on that shorter bar and walk over to the nesting box bar?
It is 33 inches between the nesting box perch and wall (there are currently some sheets of glass against the wall that need to be moved so even less). I put a pullet into a box and she jumped down into the doorway. I hope that will be okay? 🤷‍♀️

I have a feeling we will get a lot of snow this year. I normally put my 200' snow fence up at the end of October when I winterize the coop and house. But there are many signs that I will be putting that fence up in two more weekends. #1 my chestnut tree has lost all its leaves (this is usually the first tree to lose the leaves in mid October), #2 my birch trees have lost half their leaves, #3 the cougar has made his yearly trek through the neighborhood a lot earlier than past years, #4 I had to start a fire in the fireplace after that week of the lows in the 40s when I normally have to do that near the end of October, and #5 older friends of the family are already having their seasonal aches and pains. If we don't get more snow than last year, I will be completely surprised!!

Our chestnut still has its leaves. You must be farther north than me. I am about 35 minutes south of Green Bay along the lakeshore. We did start our fire 🔥 in the fireplace twice already this year. Just a few logs in the morning to get out the chill. Cougar? Yikes! How do you know he has gone through? Trail cams?

I'm in Central Wisconsin almost exactly in the middle of Wisconsin.
The cougar has been spotted on trail cameras, by people, and they always put an elementary on lockdown because the cougar comes through town on that side.
