I like reading of other ideas and things that people have used instead of the traditional things that are sold or what is classed as normal.
The idea of the refrigerator draws, I was only thinking not long ago what I could use as nest boxes, I tried the plastic bucket idea but they wouldn't go near them, I then used a small basket that I once got a food hamper in and a couple of cardboard boxes, they laid eggs in both.
I just got a set of wooden (traditional) nest boxes that I installed yesterday, so hopefully they will take to them, I bought them online and they are light (as in weight) wood and well made.
