LOL, I can so relate to that, since we're nearly at the end of DH and I building our coop. Had a few <ahem> discussions along the way!

Hope you get the leak fixed!

We own a deli and catering company and can dance around eachother in the kitchen all day with no problems....but bring on the house projects and its bickering all the way!

We almost got a divorce over installing a screen door....that's when we decided that having someone else build the coop would be a great idea!

LOL

I would prefer to hire someone else, but I only seem to remember this after the project is started.
My dw and myself were dividing up assets one time when painting the house only to be saved by the arrivall of my parents to help. The DW wants it perfect and I just want it done.

Better to find out now!

You could add a strip of rubber, like the kind sold for mats at hardware stores. I'd leave the shingles over the nest box and silicone the rubber than lay a strip of narrow wooden edging over that like a batten and tighten with screws.

Windows can probably be lifted out when it's dry and re-sealed all the way around the frame, re-installed and sealed both inside and out.

There's *always* something!

Stop sending the rain, btw...
