I think I'm done with my functional, if not beautiful, nesting boxes. I added shower pan liner under the lid hinges, as described in a Backyard Chickens posting on weather-proofing nesting box lids. Also, I had a hard time getting all wood pieces to line up like a good carpenter would, but I'm hoping this will do for the spring/summer weather.
