Nesting Box

Hi Everyone,
Quick question; I have four hens (I hope ) and am wondering should I do at least two nesting boxes or would one suffice? Thanks for your input!

I would do two that way they have options and if your flock grows you have the room. I’m all about giving them the most room possible

I had only one for my 4 until they started truly laying then added another... They still all want the original one! I would do two though because if one hen is laying in the original one then the others can lay in the new one. That will prevent eggs being laid in areas you don't want them to.

Two is fine for now. If you get more hens, then add more. I have 3 for 5 hens and they still prefer the smallest and darkest one. I'm adding 3 more chicks and I have one more space to turn into a nest box. I'm thinking about adding curtains in the near future. Good luck!
