Nesting boxes

Im still new to this do I need more than 2 nesting boxes for my 11 chickens?

Probably technically, however, all of my eggs were laid in the same box today and typically they use 2, at most 3. They definitely have their favorites!
 
The more boxes you make available to them, the fewer they will use. Just the way chickens work... Technically you should have a box for every 4-6 birds, so you should be fine. But you could always put a third one in there if you wish. I'm actually a little surprised at the pic you attached... Many birds wouldn't lay in an open box like that. They prefer and enclosed/quiet/concealed area to lay. Regardless... when a hen goes to lay, they prefer to lay where others have before them... So, most of the eggs will end up in one or two boxes.
 
Yes they have started laying and they lay perfectly fine I was just wondering if it would be better for them if they had more boxes.
