Nesting boxes

I have been raising chickens for about 3 years. I have 40 chickens and I wondering what is the best to use in the nesting boxes hay or straw.

Great to have you here!
I used to use straw (I have roll out nest boxes now with artificial grass). I had read that hay can be dusty so I’ve never tried it. I wonder if they do dust extracted hay?
