Nesting material

Thank you everyone. Reading all of these comments, I’m thinking I will try different nesting material first for the fun of it. Then if that doesn’t work I’ll make the lip bigger on the boxes and add padding under the straw.

Perhaps something across the front of the box to hold the material in would help

Right now I have a 2 inch board in front of the boxes. I’ll definitely make those taller, thank you.

Double or triple that....before bothering to change bedding.

I raised the lip to about 5 inches and it fixed the problem. Thank you everyone

I use soft fabric wrapped around a bubble mailer. it stays in place and is soft and they can't kick it out. they sometimes kick bedding into the nest, but no issues.
