Hi there,
From previous posts I shared that my duck stopped laying eggs. That hasn't really normalized and now she's sitting in her nest with no eggs. She sits there all morning long. Why does she do that if she has no eggs? I don't think she's egg bound or anything.
Thank you,

I'm not sure, I don't have ducks, but I know that my chickens will sit on a piece of corn cob to go broody when they think its time. I then just slip the eggs under her I want her to brood (usually not her own) and she hatches them for me. Broodies stay on the nest even at night in most cases.

So she basically thinks she has eggs to sit on but doesn't? This is all new to me
I have a Muscovy duck sitting on an empty nest, I took her eggs away as she laid them over the course of a couple weeks did not phase her a bit she is brooding on nothing.
