I'm thinking about signing up for Netflicks but would like to hear from others how good or bad it is for the price & service?
tks.

We've been happy with it. I think we have the one that's 3 movies at a time and I think it's worth the money just to not have to go to the video rental place and try to pick a movie.

We've been a member for several years!! (The prices have come down, too, over those years!!) We've always done the 3 at a time plan.

We love it!!! Can't imagine life without it.

One of our favorite things is watching the "watch instantly" movies on our computer. It's included in your membership at no additional cost.

When we lived in the Houston area, we got our DVDs in 1 day, but now we live in Amarillo and it takes 2 days to arrive each way.

It's worth every dime, IMO.

Service is great. If you get a DVD with a problem, you just log into your account, click the report problem button and they send out another asap.

I have netflix I've had it for other a year now I like it. I've gotten one ever gotten 2 cd that skipped and they send me replacements for them right away.

I like the ones you can watch at your computer, it's nice.

They have a good selection. Good luck.

(I have the deal that allows to movies out at a time, it works out wonderfully)

I use Netflix. We really like it. Comcast On Demand movies cost $5 each, but I get unlimited rentals from Netflix for $9.99 a month. I have the 1 movie at a time plan, but I can get as many as possible during the month. Usually if I send one back on Monday, I get another one on Wed. it will go back in the mail the next day or Friday. Works out well for us. And if its a movie other people in the household want to watch, we can keep it for a week or longer, if we want. Sometimes the movies come quicker, but they have never taken more than 2 days to get a new one to me.

We had it for a long time but don't have time to watch movies any more.

My recommendation: if you let family members have queues, make sure that each queue has movies in it. If they don't, NetFlix will only send movies from the list that has movies on it and won't send movies at all from the non-populated list. Why is this a problem?

Say you've got a 2-at-a-time subscription. Two lists on the same account mean that you effectively get just 1 movie at a time. We found that out the hard way.

That said, DBF loved NetFlix. He used it extensively. I'm not much of a movie person but he is and it works well for him.

We've had it for a number of years and love it. It's a 20 minute trip to the nearest rental place, so if you suddenly decide you want a movie, it can be a real hassle. We have the 3 at a time subscription, so we always have something to watch. We don't have cable, so we rent a lot of series that we can't get and watch them that way, or old TV shows (just started watching the old "Get Smart" TV shows), can get instructional DVDs (as in exercise DVDs to try out before buying), as well as stuff from the History Channel, National Geographic, PBS, etc. Haven't tried the "watch instantly" feature as we only just got broadband (dial-up before), so hoping to try that out this weekend! Service has always been phenomonal - send one back, have a new one in two days! Cannot say enough good things about it. Get it - you'll be glad you did!
