Netherland Dwarf Thread! A Place To Post Pics Of Your Rabbits

What do ur guyses barns/setups look like? I need ideas. I'm not wanting to many at one time, but maybe around 6or9 ether pairs or trios. My plan is: buck; choc. Otter( or solid chocolate), Does; chocolate( or choc. Otter), thenblacks. Buck solid, does otters. Blues: buck solid, does otter. It all depends on how much $$ I have, how much room I have and how much the breeders have for sell( if they have pedigrees)

They start to fade out in color due to cleaning them with bleach once sometimes twice a year. They have been moved and fixed up since these pics and look a lot better. I use the litter pans to potty train them otherwise the would poop in nest box's. and the bucks have litter pans with tops as nest box's and little pans to potty in and yep they do know the difference and which one is for what. both hutches are in my barn and altho not the best design, i did build them myself.

They don't eat the wood? I was thinking of getting wire cages, they're cheaper and easier to keep up with. But I can't decide on the size of the cage. Ether the 24"by24"by16", the 30"by30"by16" or the 30"by36"by16". I found two three breeders. They have the colors I want but the kits are $20-$40 depending on quality and if I do ARBA shows and/or 4-h. I'm only doin the 4-h with these little ones. And plan on selling kits for $15-$20 to 4-hers and pet homes. Mom is on board as long as I can help buy the food and if I buy the: rabbits, cages, food/water bowls and the shelter/building. They might help with some of the expenses.

We have all our rabbits in cages or runs that are partly made with wood, and we don't find they really chew it at all.

Really? That's good, have you gone to look at the rabbits yet? Wow, that is quite cheep for show quality. We are currently selling out pet quality kits for $35, and will be selling brood stocd for $40, and show stock for perhaps $45-$55. I guess it's just how much people will pay, ND's are in very high demand around here.
