Netting / covering advice needed

Soon we will have baby birds of all sorts around our property. Peafowl, ducks, chickens ect. And with that comes the flying predators like Hawks. We want to get some kind of netting or covering these babies can seek shelter under & we can provide some protection. Does anyone have any suggestions on the most affordable way to do this? It will be for a large area too.

PS. We do live in the mountains so there are trees everywhere & debris that falls from the trees

We use poultry netting, but it isn't super sturdy. I think hardware cloth is the best long-term option!
