I have three beautiful cockerels. I would like to keep one but I already have one rooster for my flock of 20 hens, so I don’t need more active roosters. Has anyone ever had a cockerel neutered? Does anyone do that? A vet?

Pretty rare skill, has been outlawed in some places so most vets won't do it, if they even knew how.
It's called caponizing and needs to be done before 6-8 weeks.
Usually only done to meat birds....not meant to be a flock management thing.

Before resorting to caponizing/neutering, have you considered other options, such as splitting your flock of hens into two, or setting up a bachelor flock?
