Yes we are very happy now! We are going to look for a rental in North Valleys and hopefully we can find a house where we can have a flock again but we may just decide to go the cheapest route for now and save up some money for retirement. Steve turns 60 this year so the retirement cloud is looming!

Awwwwwww.....Everyone has been great so far! I had the best day with Aubrey too! Let me tell ya - she knows how to make cookies! We need a BYC get together everyone, like a park or even my house! I think we would have a blast! Just can't have people over who don't like chickens!

I like the idea of a BYC get togather. I'm trying to get one started at the show in Novemeber. Who want's to help me start it and get it working?

Well, I was a Special Events Coordinator until April 30th when my job was eliminated so I'm sure I can help in some way. Just need to know:

When, where, time and what we need? I have tons of contacts too that can help us perhaps if we need it.

The Show is Nov 19th at the RLEC. I have no clue on how to get a BYC meet started and all the fancy stuff.

Well, to get it started is just a click away on the BYC so we are almost there now. We can post it on here. Who do you have a contact for the Reno Livestock Event Center? I have the Reno Rodeo contacts who operates the facilities there but not sure if they are the ones to contact?

We don't need to do anything fancy then, we can do like a pot luck and meet in a certain area then like near the arena perhaps, that would be a bit away from the show?

No, I didn't have my chickens last year just got them this year. It will be really cold then so perhaps we need to see about finding a place inside, I didn't think of that.
