The girls all had quite pronounced wattles. I mean they weren't anything like Clark's wattles but still... and your girl there should have a really huge comb by now and some downward curved saddle feathers if she were a he. Sorry.

Just my luck! The one time I actually want a rooster it's a pullet! Lol. Wish I was having this luck with the polish. Oh well, guess I'll be getting some nice dark eggs. I wish I would have taken your trio

I am gonna raise babies from him next time I have a hen go broody. Wonder if I'll let him mate with my BO and BR or I'll just rotate birds around and get Pure RIRs. I collect all the eggs myself. SO it's not a huge deal. I'll just Put him and his RIR girls together and ut the broody in one of the banty boys house (it's an old wood rabbit house I converted). HAHAHAHA. The best part is it was my Mom's idea to let the next broody raise them!!!!

All right Tyler!!! Yeah!!!
It doesn't matter which hen goes broody. If you want pure RIRs just collect those eggs only and let whoever goes broody have them.

I only mention this because RIRs don't go broody often. If you get some RIR only chicks I'd love to buy a few from you once I get set up again. I want to concentrate on the marans right now for breeding but I have to have Orps and RIRs for eggs! Genny has my order for Orps already so I'm almost set!

That would have been nice! Well if I get an extra boy out of this hatch he's yours! I want at least 3 boys so I can have my pic for a really super roo for breeding but if I get more than 3 you can have one.

I don't show my birds (afraid of disease) but I still want a great roo, with a nice mellow personality, that will give me lots and lots of gorgeous chicks to sell.
