So, I had a job interview at GSI-somthing, and I think it went really well!! Im hoping I get hired.

The lady was realy nice.

Aubrey that is very sweet of you but I seem to have a talent for making some folks mad at me. Some folks are just ignorant idiots and it's hard for me to suffer their existance without an air of impatience but sometimes I tick people off without even meaning to!

GSI is some warehouse thing based out in Kentucky but recently branched out here.

I cant wait until you get those chicks, we need pictures!! I love the dark eggs. I ordered some marans from Ideal, and they lay kinda dark eggs with darker freckles. Wasnt too impressed.

I hope you get it! I also hope they appreciate what a find they have! I've hired a lot of young folks and you are far more intelligent that most of your peers, as I'm sure you already know.

I will post pics of them next Monday. We aren't picking them up until next weekend so they will be a week old by then! I know, it's hard to get the really dark egg layers these days. That's why I want to concentrate on egg color. I'm afraid all this work on SOP has diluted the egg color on a lot of breeds.

Well the fact that you weren't super excited about them saya a lot and you did let me know which sales you preferred for calves that is even more helpful though I will probably buy from a farm in the end not an auction. I just worry about the spread of disease when so many animals are crammed into one area.

So sorry to hear that Trumpter passed. It is hard for a chicken to recover from serious illness without some lasting effects so in the long run it's probably easier that he passed now.

Still so hard on us humans to see a pet die.

Thanks everyone. I think he might of been attacked by one of the other roos he lives with and had internal injuries. I found one of the other roosters he used to live with dead today but I think he was atacked because he died over night.

No just three Silkies. Just to be safe how long should I quarantine my roosters for? I'm thinking of putting them on lock down. Which they get fed last bucket watered and I move them into a cage in the rabbit barn.

I wish I knew! I've never showed birds. I can't believe sweet little cochins and silkies are fighting!

I know all roos fight sometimes it's just hard to picture these cute little breeds picking on each other.
