Morning everyone! Sorry I haven't been on in the last few days, been very busy with everything around the house. The christmas tree is the best we've ever had. I can't wait to get it into the house soon and get it decorated. I'll post a couple pics later.

Thanks Sunny for posting the pics of everyone at the show! And I agree with you - Aubrey looks much better in that shirt than I would have.

That's an awesome deal you guys got on that house! Fixing it up can be fun and it's also very rewarding when you stand back and admire what you've accomplished.

Sunny W is now mad that I didn't tell her about the Poultry show.

Aw well, next year... Or maybe I'll take her down to the one in Stockton...

Seth and Tyler those rabbits are adorable! Sounds like you have a competition going between you.

I think everyone looked great in the photos! I think i have a photo of my kids at the show standing by the polish frizzle. I will post tonight.

Sorry to break conversation, guys (and gals.) I finally got new pictures of my flock today. I want to completely socialize my dogs and my chickens so they can run around semi-supervised in the backyard. Right now, they're separated by a 3' garden fence and respect each others' space. And the dogs don't try to mess with the babies in the house, either. They understand that they're MY chickens, not THEIRS. But I'm not so sure they'll feel that way if they share the same open space.

Loco (El Pollo Loco) didn't appreciate the socialization practice as much as everyone else did.

Original (the Delaware,) Barbeque, El Pollo Loco, and Gourmet. Her name used to be Rotisserie, but one day she got injured and, a vet bill later, her name changed to Gourmet.

Nugget and Tender, the jungle chicks. I think Tender is already displaying some rooster qualities... he's larger, and is a lot bolder than Nugget. But it's still pretty early.
