I haven't seen your yard yet Aubrey but I do have a decent sized yard for a city lot. Still I can't imagine having an emu on any city lot! They need a lot of room to roam.

I hope the little guy finds a home somewhere.

Hello folks, Well our Seramas are gone. Except one roo and two little not right females. Not sure what is wrong with the hens. one got a rough start in life and has simply never been right. the other lost it's sense of balance a while back and has never fully recovered. Anyway we where not going to pass on problems. other than that the entire flock of 40ish birds went to one person in Lemmon Valley.

We are looking for 6 standard size egg layers. Doing some homework I have had my mind on Black Sex links. But wanted to put the word out in case anyone in the area has some hens for sale. Let me know asap because we are going to try and get the sex links from Greens Feed later today or tomorrow if the forum does not turn up anything. I'll check back later. If anyone hs a better recommendation for a egg laying, strong, good mannered and a decent dual purpose hen let me know. emphasis is on egg laying. Enjoy the sunshine everyone.

I have some pullets for sale. They are ameraucanas and ams mixed with EEs though. They will most likely lay a large blue-green egg. They should lay really well. I get an egg most every day from my girls. I am hoping to find a home for these birds ASAP. They are too big for the biggest brooder I have but still a little small for the big coop and some of the more agressive gals in there.

Cool little piggys Jeeper! I'd love to raise my own pork but that will have to wait. Good luck with them!

anywhoo, hope all is well and you are all enjoying this BEAUTIFUL weather!! we went for a nice long bikeride this morning and all i could think as i was riding past all these gorgeous homes was "if i lived there i could have ___ chickens!!"
