Tyler - I've met Sunny and you can trust her very much and I would help with gas money, I would come get you but I want to be at the park we choose early enough to get a spot for our group since I'm not going to be paying $160 to reserve a spot at the park.

Oh and I found this light that guards our chickens you can purchase it at niteguard.com for $20, I'm going to buy 2 of them at least if not 4 to make sure I don't get coons here. I saw a posting from someone who's flock was being attacked and she didn't know what was attacking them until she got an animal camera from a sporting goods store and it showed a coon crawling all over her coop. I didn't know they can even undo latches too. These creatures are really sick when it comes to chickens. I haven't been able to sleep really well ever since I saw the pics of that on her post and thinking of you about your attack and what you & Mark went through that night. It was way too scary.

Yeah those coons are crafty little jerks. We have now put a masterlock on out coop door and hang the key next to it. I hate raccoons!

Wow! Your Dad is a baby donor too? I hear it is so rare, it's funny that we have more than one just on this thread! Wait, a baby donor doesn't have to be O-neg I guess. It's just that a baby donor with O-neg is universal but that doesn't mean that an A+ couldn't be a baby donor to A+ babies.

Hi Nevada people!

I've been spending hours on BYC trying to figure out the plan for my coop and run. i'm thinking 8x10 for the coop and have figured out the spot for it in my yard. I've started to look at materials and it won't be cheap! I saw there is a habitat for humanity restore on Kuenzli so I'll be checking that out. Anyone know of other good sources for cheaper materials?

I have finished with 2 coats of paint on all the walls of the house. Now I just have the scary higher parts on the ends of the house left to do and the trim. wanting to move on to building a coop has really motivated me to get this house painting done this week.
