Nevadans?

WOW more January birthdays. My dad's was the 25th, my oldest daughter is the 25th, oldest grand daughter is the 3rd and 2nd oldest is the 17th. I'm not far behind on February 3rd. I think we need a birthday bash!

Think I need one. Last year's was hard. My husband's was the 4th, so we celebrated back to back and I just crawled into bed last year and check chicks as they hatched. This year I really need to do something.

OK so everyone has to be there. This will be fun.

My twins' birthday is Jan 25th! They will be five. Looks like a popular month in this group.

Just popping in here briefly. I should be in bed already but soren woke up crying so that took awhile to settle him down. then he asked for a drink of water and went back to sleep. good night, everyone!

Alright Ron! My birthday is the 31st of January!

You know it's very strange when you're told something and you tell the doctor okay. And you continue on with what you are doing and take tons of medication, yuck, and your kids telling you see grandma, that's going to be you isn't it. And you say it is but not right now. I'm on an experimental treatment that's actually working. I'm the first one they actually put in remission on purpose. It's all good and all things are the way they are going to be and if you can't change it then you must just enjoy what you can while you can. I can actually say I'm enjoying life and doing whatever it is I want to do.

Woo Hoo! LOVE that attitude!!! That's my life's philosophy in a nut shell. Things are as they are, can't change it, so enjoy life as it comes. Your healthy outlook and deciding not to stress about everything probably has a lot to do with the success of the treatment. I believe stress kills us faster than anything. Course it's late and I'm tired so I may not be making any sense at all. Even that makes no difference because I don't know that I'm speaking gibberish! LOL!

All you Aquarians!!! Wow! 3 of our 4 kids are Aquarians! Great sign to be born under. Not that I know a lot about astrology. I would love to help you all throw a birthday bash! But where would we find a place big enough to hold you all? Umm too hard to think when I'm this tired gonna try to get some sleep.

Pam I talked to my doctor today. Got a low dose prescription to try. Hopefully it works! Can't fill it yet but as soon as the Army corrects it's paperwork we will be able to get it filled. YEAH!

G'night everybody!

There's a reason for all of these late January/early February birthdays. It just requires doing a little math... Let's see: Feb. 1 minus 9 months equals May 1... Spring! Isn't that when a young man's fancy turns to love?

Hmmm, I never knew young men only "fancied" in spring.

My DH, his sister, their only cousin, our other daughter, 3/4ths of my neices and nephews and too too many other folks to list that I know have their birthdays at the end of September and in October. That by far are the months that most of the folks I know were born so, of course, I had to look it up. Turns out October 5th is the most common birthday. Reason? Count back 40 weeks and you get close to the only holiday we celebrate that is geared to adults only. New Years Eve. It's also during winter when it is awfully nice to cuddle up together to stay warm........

Huh? Oh, ok, sorry. My mind was drifting there for a minute. What were we talking about?

You too, and likewise! I'm not a coffee drinker, but maybe I'll find an excuse to come get a steamed milk or green tea, just so I can ask how your chickens are doing. And as far as the soap... you know where to find me! I just broke into retail this fall with the soaps, and they're already very popular.

Thanks so much for the babies! They're chilling in their brooder right now, still adjusting to the new environment, but they know where their food and water is.
