We had some much needed rain all day yesterday. Ya know the old saying when it rains ,it pours.

I was tired all day & ready for some SLEEP!!!

I kid you not, I'm getting into bed... then BAM !! something hit the coop, get out there & inspect the inside can't notice any leaks etc.. So I figured all is well, NOT!!
Try to get back in the bed & a limb falls on a power line!!!! Transformer is shooting sparks everywhere, no power. It takes them about 3 hrs. to come out & fix it.
could have been worse, but I think the curving on the roof helped deflect the limb from going thru... It did dent the roof in some.
I'm very thankful all my chickens & duckies were okay.

Hey yall, I was letting the chickens out the morning & didn't even notice a chunk of wood that fell from the impact.

Oh well got to put Dh back to work this weekend ,lol.
