Never head my quail crow

I have 3-4 male bobwhites in my flock and I have never heard then crow. Everyone said that quail crow alot and loudy. Every once and a while I hear a loud swawk comeing from my pen, but I think it's my pheasants. It like high pitched swawk. Could this be the quail?
