I love the Sister Mary Agnes name, too. I remember someone who had an EE mix named Mrs. Black. The way the name came to be was that her young daughter was walking past the hen and just out of the blue said, "Well, hello Mrs. Black". I thought that was so cute!

I have seriously considered the idea of a baby monitor as well. Do you have electricity in your coop so you don't have to worry about batteries? And what is the range on your baby monitor? Inquiring minds need to know
