Actually I find Turkeys easy to raise. only the broody hens are kinda hard to break-up. I keep my raising simple, and in return get profit out of them. I have Heritage Standard Bronze's and I like to hatch my own turkeys. if you hatch eggs keep the temp at 100* and humidity at 55 and last week at 70. the chicks can eat regular chick starter and when they are grown they just eat regular scratch grains and layer feed that chickens eat. if you don't get it complicated, you'll enjoy them more. mine just lay their eggs in the hen's nestboxes and when i want some chicks hatched off, either i leave them in the nest and just let the hens naturally go setting on them. or i let a broody chicken handle them. turkeys are fun and easy to raise
