It's kind of funny. But my 2 pekins are around 10 weeks. They do this crazy thing almost every day when they get excited or when I give treats. It's funny to watch them do it but makes me a little nervous as to why.

These guys will put their head close to the ground and open their wings and run in a circle then stand up normal. And 99% of the time the one does it first and the other follows suit instantly.

Is this something that's just normal behavior? Are they trying to inform me of some kind of problem? Are they playing?

Any answers are greatly appreciated!! T.I.A.!!

So is it bad if I have a male? I've heard that females are loud and obnoxious and the male will keep their peep sounds for a while. I have one super obnoxiously loud one and one who quacks a little but peeps alot too. Does that mean I have 1 of each? And is it bad if they're doing that?

No it’s not bad to have a male but having one of each can really be bad for a female drakes have high sex drive and will want to mate a lot everyday it would be best you get 3 more females for him.
Okay. Should I try to find ones their age or would I be okay getting babies and keeping them separated for a while to mature?
