Gotta tell you that my Turken is one of my favorites--I groaned when I opened the box, but she has laid me a beautiful brown egg 6 out of every 7 days since she was 18 weeks old and is still laying now. Supposedly they are pretty cold hardy despite the lack of feathers. She is also one of the nicer, friendlier birds. My friend has one that is red with Egyptian eye makeup, and a full ruff of feathers around her neck, she is truely beautiful.
