Never the same after molting

1 of our Sapphire Gems continues to have more watery stool and I don’t think she’s laying, yet no proof on that. She had a hard molt and I thought she was gonna die. Her comb and her waddle shrank and barely got color back in them. Shes active and eats and drinks now. This is my first time with a problem here. The hens are going on 3 years old. Thank you!

You know, what's really funny is that a lot of chickens continue to have watery poo even while they are laying. I had a welsummer hen named Puddles, and she always had "the runs".
I have three sapphire gems (they are my favorite breed of all time) and they tend to have rough molts. I think she should be okay, but I think you should check this link out just in case.

I know this is an old post. But I have two sapphire gems that are a year and a half old. They were an impulse purchase from the feed store lol. I absolutely adore them! I wanted a couple more birds for my flock when I picked them up.

They lay almost daily, and I’m shocked as I have never had a breed so consistently lay. Here’s my question- they’ve not molted. Usually my birds start around September and have beautiful feathers by November when the weather turns very cold.

Not these two. Nothing. Not a single feather gone off their bodies. I want then to molt 1.) for a break goodness gracious and 2.) my last rooster favored these girls and I want feathers to grow back!

(They do not have feather mites - I took them to the vet for a skin scraping and cytology) the vet said they are just putting in so much effort to lay that they won’t grow back until after a molt.

It’s almost December! All the other girls have molted and look beautiful!

Any thoughts?
