Welcome to BYC! Make sure your new babies have a good home set up soon!

If you don't have a brooder setup and your temps are under 85*F at night, you probably want a heat source for your chicks until they feather out. I suggest looking into heat pads.
If you don't have a coop yet, get started soon! It will take longer to build than you think. Also build way bigger than you need. You will probably want more.

Welcome to BYC! That is so sweet of your neighbors! How exciting, moving to Spain! I would love to go there. I have a feeling the red one could be a cockerel, but not sure. I assume they would offer you a pair so you can get started on a flock of your own? How many birds do they have? Do they have just hennies or do they have hens and roos? I am asking because sometimes it helps with the detective work. I hope at least one is a pullet!

They have loads of partridges. They singetting in rhythm every morning and its so funny to listen to.
