Hi all! I'm just got my chicks today. 7 of them....2 Black Sex-Links, 2 Orpingtons, and 3 Bantams. I'm a country girl living in the city but still know very little about raising chickens. We are raising them for the eggs and have built a 4x4 coop with a 14in nesting box off the side and 2 roost bars inside. I hope this will be enough living quarters! I'm also hoping my Bantams are hens.....we can't have roosters in the city. All the chics are about a week old so I guess time will tell what the Bantams are. I look forward to reading the forums and learning all about raising my chics!
