New 2 yr old White Rock help!

New to our flock a 2 yr old white rock hen in quarranteen. I have read that she needs to be in quarranteen 30 days. Will she lay an egg any time soon? How long before the shock of the move wheres off. Do they generally stop laying all together in new surroundings? should I be concerned that she has not laid an egg in a week?

She needs time to adjust and it may take awile for her to settle in. She will also have to go through the introduction stange of being put with the others soon. I wouldnt look for her to lay until she is accepted by all the other girls. She also my start laying tomorrow, just dont expect anything from her and then you will be suprised when you do get an egg. Give her some treats each day so that she knows you are "momma chicken" and she will be more happy.
