New Addition...but what is she?

We have acquired this pretty girl. Our neighbors had a mass murder in their coop and she was able to escape and hide. But since the incident, she had been lonely and quit laying...anyway they gave her to us bc they aren't getting more chickens til spring.

So what breed is she? Any ideas?

She was laying light blue eggs. I have an EE, but her face is fluffy and her legs are green. This one doesn't have the face fluff and had more..grayish legs. But idk much about chickens yet, and maybe she is an EE w just different color variations ??? Idk. My other one is very dark in color, maybe this one is just a different variety.

I do know that EE come in different colors...but if you are getting blue eggs...that’s a very good indication.

Agreed, she’s mixed, or an easter egger if you prefer that name. There’s no standard for easter eggers as they are not a breed.

I doubt it. I looked them up, they lay white eggs, have blue earlobes, they should also have some form of barring and yellow legs. OP says the hen laid blue eggs.

She could be a game mix. She looks quite gamey?
