I let the wife go a little crazy when she went to pick up more layer pellets...happy wife, and you all know the rest!!
I would like to introduce our newest young mini-flock of girls
Sadie is a Cream Legbar
Eeyore is a Jersey Blue
Myrtle is a Green Goddess
Peaches is an Olive Egger
And last, but the one getting fought over is Mumble who is a Black Copper Marans

With our existing three of two Jersey Gems and an Easter Egger, we now have the possibility of nine different colors in our egg baskets

Get them out of the tote. Not enough space, not enough exercise. Chicks grow rapidly, and the more chicks you have, the more space you need. When you get more space, add some hideouts.

They are only going to be in there during the evening hours and will spend all daylight, weather permitting, in our original mini-coop..

It doesn't sound like you are asking for any advice,
maybe you meant to post in the 'pics and stories' forum,
but....
They are only going to be in there during the evening hours and will spend all daylight, weather permitting, in our original mini-coop..
You could put the mini-coop right in the big girls run to start early integration.

Might be able to put the chicks out full time soon, depending on your climate.

Welcome to BYC! @Diesel69er
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!
