New additions for Black Ameraucana flock? PICS!

Hi,
I have traditionally had a small backyard laying flock. I do have three great breeder/ show quality black Ameraucana hens from Will Marrow. I also have a few BC Marans, Delawares, and Welsummers. I have the opertunity to buy a Black Ameraucana Cockeral and 5 Black Ameraucana pullets that seem to be show prospects from a responsible breeder. Because I have so few birds I would have to sell most of my other layers. I have no problems selling off the Delewares and most of the Black Coppers. Should I take the oppertunity to start breeding my birds? I may only have a year left having chickens as I am going to college?

I was thinking about getting all 6 or maybe just a trio not sure what to do.

I think they are John Belhm they are from Will Marrows farm just like my pullets.

I would look at them in person first before you make a decision and also get some eggshell samples from the owner.

It's a good buy just for started laying birds.

Also check out the premises to see if they seem "clean".

Ill be sure to do that I think I will go this weekend it is a good deal for ready to lay birds. The cockeral won best ASOB at a show what ever that means im no showman

Im getting at least a quad and I am selling some of my birds they are in the BST section.

That means he won his class. Out of all the birds in All Other Standard Breeds, he was the best. But you have to consider what show it was.

Was it an APA and ABA sanctioned show or the county fair?

It was the Maryland State fair its a pretty big show but im not sure if its APA or ABA. He is from Will Marrow so I know he has the potential to be really good quality but I am not sure. I am interested in him for breeding not nesacarrally showing though.
