Question of the Day - Tuesday, July 29th, 2025

Speaking of younger days, I just remembered. Somewhere in the La Plata Mountains of southern Colorado, there is a trail. I know I went up because on the other side there is a down. And a down and down and down, down, down. And I'd thought going up was a bit rough! But oh my knees! I was all but crying when we got to the pick-up point where the designated driver came to pick us up. If I could find the person who convinced me to do that, that day ... !

I've hiked on a mountain but never really up a mountain. Just one narrow path next to a cliff made me cry (fear of heights) so I don't think I'm cut out for a legit climb.

Table Mountain, also rock-climbed different sections many times as well as absailed down sections.

Yes! I didn't reach the peak because we had a little one with us, but I hiked a good lot of it. Someday, I hope to finish the hike and possibly camp at the top. (There's camping spot up there because it's on the Appalachian Trail.)
