Hi all, I'm hoping somebody maybe able assist me idenitfying the type & sex of my three new additions to my family. I'm only a new comer to the poultry scene & am completely in love with my new babies. I've had Rhode Islands & Australorpes for a number of years (due to hubby's request for large eating eggs).
However I discovered the belgian breed & a local lady had some crossbreeds for sale. When I picked them up there was a wide range of roos & hens free ranging. She said that she only 'set' bantam eggs. She had Mille Fleur Belgian hen & 'Lilac'Belgian roo, a number of other bantams including a belgian cross roo, a sml plain black belgian cross hen.
The babies are the most placid chicks I have ever had - they are amazing!
Thank you to anyone to can help.
