I found an ad on craigslist for peachicks that were fairly close by. Wanted to get one or two so my little Weston wouldn't be alone. Even though he is in the coop with all my goonies and my silkie. Went to pick them up. The lady only had 2 left. A white and she said the second is IB. The IB looks a little older but she said the white was eight days old. I got a little angry inside when I saw its feet. I didn't say anything because I didn't want her to refuse the sale. Why in the world would she not have had shoes on it? As soon as I got home I massaged his feet for awhile and then got the shoes on him. He stumbled for a few minutes and soon he was strutting like he should. So can anyone out there tell me for sure if my second one is truly IB or do we need better photos?

Ok throwing this question out to you all. I put the shoes on my little eight day old white peachick. How long should I keep the shoes on? Thanks!
If it were a two or three day old chick I would say 24 to 36 hours but eight days old the bones have started to harden and it will take longer. It won't hurt anything to leave them on a week or until they fall off and you can see if they need to be put back on.

Thank you. I was thinking the same thing but wanted to hear from the experts.
