New additions to the family!

I was excited to learn that my red golden pheasants were coming early. My surprise came early Sunday morning when a friend of mine dropped off my pair extra early. Thank goodness it has been warm the last couple of days so i could finish their pen! They can go inside (which is where you see the pictures from) and outside. I just have to finish planting some of the pampas grass as part of the ground cover. Hopefully it is the last "finishing touch"

Is she supposed to have a red eye? Even if she doesn't, she sure does chirp.

Is there anyone else out there that has a new or existing pet that they feel like showing off? I would love to see them!!

The red eye on your hen is one of the ways to varifiy that she is really a red golden. She also should have yellow legs. Your hen should be laying in about 3 more weeks. Nice looking birds. I'm sure your really enjoy them.
