New additions

At just 2 days shy of being 2 weeks, we're getting close to looking like miniature chickens. There's feathers sprouting everywhere.

Waffle who is getting quite the pretty white and tan pattern going on and is the sweetest of the bunch (they're all super sweet though and love their cuddles)

Peanut (who seems to be growing a different type of feather and doesn't sit still for pictures well)

Nugget who is also becoming super pretty

3 weeks old today. Tried scrambled eggs last night and they went nuts! You'd think having a plate of them so everyone could get some wouldn't cause chases and fights but I'm not a chicken 😂

Dumpling (still loud and independent but loves attention more now)

Peanut (has a shorter tail than the others and a still a different looking type of feathers)
20200304_130727.jpg

Nugget (has very pretty blue barring on her feathers that doesn't photograph well)

Waffle (her feathers come in panicking me with the rust color, but once they fully come out they blend back in with the sandy color like her other feathers and her pattern is the same on both sides. Only thing that really worries me is her comb is a hair bigger than everyone else's save for Peanut who is still 100% flat. Keep telling them they all HAVE to be girls. That tactic works, right?)

Turned a month old on last Wednesday! Getting a nice bigger area to run around in the next few weeks until they can be moved to their coop (when we get their run area all set)

Waffle is the first one to get her cheek poof fathers growing in and it is making her even more adorable. (Her feathers are not as dark as the pictures make them look and they come in darker brown but once fully settled blend back in to match all the other ones. Pattern even on both sides.)

Peanut is a trouble maker and way too curious for her own good.

Dumpling is still very independent but loves cuddles on her terms.

Nugget still has those really pretty blue bars and thankfully has a different head color than Dumpling so I should definitely be able to keep them straight 😂

They all look like pullets to me! Cutie pies! :love

Exact news I like to hear! I was thinking so as well, but always good to hear other opinions on it. Especially since I love them all and would hate to have to rehome one. Now they just have to continue all looking like pullets 😂
Keep this thread updated along the way, just in case one stops looking like a pullet.

Nugget still a big floof of a chicken ball

Peanut the trouble maker and eye poker
