Woke up to about 2" of the white stuff this morning. Stick a fork in Fall... it's done!

Just have to say, that's a nice set-up you have there.

I love to watch it snow, and I miss Alaska. Might go back when all the kids get married.

I truely admired your coop ad must say it is the best chicken coop I ever seen,I don't think anybody can build a better coop than yours.

Aww... thank you guys! It has been a labor of love. Now that it's almost done, we're breathing a sigh of relief. So far it has been working just fine. At night we close the pop-down doors, and with a couple of brooder lamps on for the babies, it hasn't gotten below freezing yet. We sure have. And it's clearing up tonight, so it will likely be a tad nippy.

It's ok... it's waaaayyyy better than the mud we've had all summer.

It's amazing how many people have lived here and had to move away for some reason or another. And funny... they ALL say they miss AK and would like to move back. *digs heels in* I ain't going nowhere!!
