Im going to call the vet tomorrow and see what he can do. Thanks for the concern! Right now she is more active then she has been since I got her, up running around the brooder with the bigger chicks. She has such a funny little personality it would really stink to lose her so I am going to do everything I can to keep her around for a good long time!

The chicks are doing well and already outgrowing their brooder. It seems like everytime I check on them they have grown a little bigger. The special chick is no longer special at all. Its been amazing to see how much progress it has made in just a week. It is easily just as big as the other smaller chick and runs and plays with the rest. I am pretty sure that I have at least a few roos in the bunch. There are a few that already "attack" my hand when I change the water and food. They are also starting to get their colors as seen in the pics. Im deffinently in

ohh I'm so happy the little one is thriving. I look in my brooderand I feel like I'm looking at all roo's. Out of the 6 I kept I am positive three are roos. By the end of next week we will probably be able to tell all thier genders.....pullets pleeaasee......

Thats funny, I feel the same way! I am positive that at least half of mine are roos. They all look so big and I swear they are getting combs already!
