My name is Ian, and I'm living in South Jersey. Spring 2016 is when I plan to start my flock, and I'm hoping to get a few Barnevelders. The menagerie currently contains 3 cats, 2 dogs, 2 turtles, and some fish... chickens seemed like a good next step!

I've posted a plan for the coop I want to build, and I'd appreciate any (constructive) feedback you can offer.

    Hi :welcome Ian

Glad you could join the flock! I'm sure you will enjoy your new chicken adventures, it's a fab hobby that is lots of fun and very rewarding too. Have you checked out the coop section? Lots of great ideas there. Here is the link ~https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/2/Coop_Designs

Good luck for the future and with getting your coop built.

    Enjoy BYC :frow
