Just wanted to share we made a similar error when we got our first four girls. We got a coop that was advertised for four to six chickens. We did not know about BYC way back when and assumed that if a manufacturer said it was good for four to six hens, then it was. Brought the hens home and soon realized it wasn’t going to work. Had to rig something else up! You’re not alone!
